Pet Spots & Odor Treatment
Enjoy the Pet Snuggles Without the Pet Smells
Cute as they may be, family pets can leave unwanted scents in your living spaces. Pet stains often soak deep into the carpet backing, the pad, or even the floor's subsurfaces, resulting in odors that are hard to remove without professional help.
Pet owners often want to know the best way to treat pet spots and odors from their carpeted homes.
Most traditional carpet cleaners only treat the problem on the surface. Commercial carpet pet spot sprays often just cover up lingering odors by adding scents or perfumes and leave behind residues.
But not us!
At Zerorez we go deeper to ensure a more thorough clean and don't add any fragrances in our cleaning process.
You can rest assured that we'll leave your floors clean, and safe for your pets once dry too!

Say Goodbye to Stubborn Carpet Pet Spots & Smells
If not treated, pet stains can create an unpleasant and unhealthy environment.
Acidic urine penetrates carpet or rug fibers and contaminates both the carpet and the floor underneath.
As the urine dries and oxidizes, it becomes alkaline, and a bacterial and chemical change occurs which can cause a yellowing effect that can permanently stain carpet. Plus, urea salts are formed, attracting moisture that can keep odor-causing bacteria alive for years. What's left must be neutralized to stop the odor at its source.
When you hire Zerorez, you hire cleaning experts who are specially trained to treat the surface and sub-surfaces of carpeting. Our technicians are trained to extract even strong and deeply set pet odors and spots on your carpets or rugs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are pet stains and urine hard to remove?
Pet stains can be very difficult to remove for multiple reasons. If it is pet urine, the urine can crystalize when it dries. Simply cleaning it with household cleaners on a surface level could take a stain out, but the urine crystals still remain. These crystals will continue to cause an odor, especially when exposed to moisture.
Can you treat pet urine and odors from furniture and upholstery?
Zerorez can usually treat spots on the surface of upholstery and furniture, assuming there is no discoloring of the actual fabric. Aside from the surface of the furniture, urine may penetrate beneath the surface into the padding of the upholstery, making it extremely difficult to remove.
Does Zerorez treat urine stains caused by other sources?
All services are to be assessed on site. With that being said, it is likely that Zerorez can do something to help with most situations involving urine stains. Our urine extraction and cleaning methods can typically treat pee and urine spots and their odors if they came from a dog, cat, other animals, or from a toddler or other person.
Does Zerorez treat the smell of cat pee and dog pee in carpet?
Yes! In most cases, Zerorez can remedy pet urine in the carpet. Smaller areas that are fairly new might be able to be cleaned at the surface level. Larger areas that have been in the carpet for a longer period of time may need a deeper cleaning that requires pad extractions to remove the urine from the padding and backing of the carpet. Our cleaning processes can treat the smell of cat pee and dog pee and other types of animal or human pee and their odors effectively.
