St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) May 04, 2015
"St. Louis has long represented opportunity and has been recognized as the "Gateway to the West," so it is the perfect place for Zerorez to announce its "Gateway for Veterans Program", says Dr. Ben Litalien, Chief Development Officer for Zerorez. "We have joined the International Franchise Association's VetFran program and will provide veterans with a $10,000 discount on our franchise fee".
Zerorez is proud to have a number of Military Veterans in its ranks including Captain Joshua Fitzgarrald, an 18-year veteran, concluding his Active Duty service as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and serving 2 tours in Iraq. "Whether on the battlefield or in the customer's home, the principles of serving are the same. Embodying these principles, Zerorez' mission, goals and services are something I believe in, desire to be a part of and aspire to press forward in the Austin area", said Captain Fitzgarrald.
According to Rick Arnold, Chief Operating Officer at Zerorez Franchising Systems, Inc., "We are really delighted with the caliber of Franchisees who are joining our system. Joshua, and others like him, demonstrates the great power of our Military Veterans to have an impact on American businesses. We look forward to continuing our exciting progress and growth as an organization."
VetFran® was founded in 1991 by the late Don Dwyer Sr. - founder of The Dwyer Group, to say "thank you" to our veterans returning from the first Gulf War. After the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the International Franchise Association (IFA) re-launched a campaign to assist U.S. veterans and their families during the difficult time.
VetFran member companies have grown into a large network of over 650 franchise brands that voluntarily offer financial discounts, mentorship, and training for aspiring veteran franchisees and veterans seeking employment. VetFran's most recent survey shows that over 203,000 veterans and military spouses found opportunities in the franchise industry as either employees or franchise owners. There are over 5,600 veterans that have become franchise business owners since 2011.
As tens of thousands of servicemen and women return from overseas deployments and are discharged from the military, expanded opportunities are needed to ensure veterans and their families can transition into the civilian economy. The franchise business model provides comprehensive training opportunities, scalability, and the need for operational execution and excellence, offering an ideal career path to enable veterans to become productive participants in the U.S. economy. VetFran supports veterans and their spouses' ability to access franchise opportunities through education on the franchise industry, financial assistance, and industry mentorship.
During the past three months, Zerorez has increased its "National Footprint" by opening franchised locations on both the East and West Coasts, with new territories now operating in Springfield, MA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Seattle, WA. Now, the focus of growth is on the "heartland" in the St. Louis Region. "We have a successful Regional Developer building out the Kansas City market and now we are ready to consider Regional Developer candidates for St. Louis," said Dr. Litalien. "This is a unique opportunity to develop a major metro-market and we look forward to finding the right candidate and getting them underway as soon as possible".
The Zerorez concept was launched in 2001, based on its Zrā¢ Water cleaning system. The founders wanted to fundamentally change the carpet and living surfaces cleaning industry. Their answer was a comprehensive process using Zrā¢ Water, which is electrolyzed and oxidized to create a powerful cleaning solution without harmful toxins, soaps or detergents. Their research found that other cleaning processes leave a residue, which naturally attracts more dirt and bacteria, so they fail to truly provide a lasting clean. Developing the Zerorez cleaning process resulted in Zero ResidueĀ®, a clear superior advantage for the brand.
