The Untimely Passing of Gil Rogers
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of one of our beloved technicians. Gil Rogers (1972 - 2016) had been a part of the Zerorez® team for over four years and mainly worked in the South Orange County area, many of you may remember him coming to your home, he certainly remembered many of you. Gil often told stories of clients that would make an impact on his day, whether it was something he had learned from them or that they were kind enough to make him lunch while he was there. He enjoyed his work and was always willing to help the team and take last minute appointments. He was the type to go to the beach on his lunch break just for the viewā¦ Although Gil was quiet at times, he was always making us laugh. He had a sweet tooth and enjoyed the baked goods the office staff would make for him. Gil also loved the Angels baseball team and would frequent the games with his son James. He was such a kind-hearted person to everyone here at Zerorez. He will always remain as a part of our Zerorez family tree. Our thoughts and prayers are with his Son James, stepdaughter Alana, his ex-wife Jennifer and his parents Jim & Kathy. A well-attended memorial service and accompanying paddle-out was held in Laguna Beach on March 10, 2016. We would like to thank those of you who reached out to us through our facebook page with your kind words. We are compiling a book of our memories of Gil to give to his children as a keepsake to remember who he was to all of us. Gil had several clients that loved him as well, if you would like to contribute to the book, you can email jeff@zerorezsocal.com or you can mail a letter to our office at:
