Pet fosters: Enter our Zerorez4Pets monthly drawing

Zerorez® Grand Rapids is encouraging more people in Kent County to foster homeless pets, by creating our Zerorez4Pets outreach. Starting today, local pet fosters throughout Kent County may register here for a free monthly drawing. Each month's winner will receive one free carpet cleaning service courtesy of Zerorez Grand Rapids.

Fostering is already one of life's most rewarding experiences because you get to help pets learn to trust as they realize that their lives just got a whole lot sweeter. But we know some pet lovers are reluctant to foster because they are afraid of a potential mess.

Zerorez Grand Rapids Owner Steve Lopez wants to remove that concern. "Our family has always adopted our pets, including our Chihuahua Chico and Poodle mix Zoey. When we were on lockdown, we started to consider how much love and joy they bring into our lives. The recent national Clear the Shelters event inspired us to do our part to reduce the numbers of pets in our community who are waiting for forever homes," says Lopez.

"Pet hair happens. Accidents happen. I am excited to help because Zerorez services stand up to a pet-friendly lifestyle," says Lopez. "Our patented, chemical-free system is designed to discourage marking, for example, so that foster pets won't repeatedly have accidents in the same spot or even in the same room. And our rotobrush brings up a lot of pet hair because it cleans one carpet fiber at a time."

He adds, "Fostering may be a temporary commitment but the rewards of opening your heart will stay with you forever."
